A Djinn can enter human bodies

A Djinn can enter a human body and control it from birth until the body's death. A Djinn does this to confront human problems, learn about humans, and better understand them.

The reason for this — as described elsewhere — is that, from the past to the present, humans have provoked the Djinn, and the Djinn have provoked humans. To understand this better, consider that a Djinn can simply live a normal life as a human; upon death, it leaves the body and continues to exist as a Djinn.
When a Djinn lives as a human — having inhabited and controlled a human body from infancy — it can learn a great deal about humans and human problems.

Another perspective:
When the Djinn lives solely as a Djinn, he becomes annoyed with humans and fails to understand why they acted the way they did. The Djinn does not understand humans because he does not know what occupies their minds, or how a human thinks, acts, and reacts. The Djinn has no "substance" — no conception — of what it means to be human. When the Djinn lives as a human, however, he gathers human experience.
