2. Initiation – The soul is many trillions of years old

Spiritual initiations proceed in small steps, initiating the person —and the soul — into spiritual mysteries by degrees.

Once you have understood that you are a spiritual being — a soul or a Djinn — the next, second initiation follows: The soul is immortal and many trillions of years old; indeed, many souls or Djinns are trillions upon trillions of years old.

The soul has not always been incarnated, nor has it always walked around in biological bodies. This state of affairs developed over the course of trillions of years in the past.

More on how it came about that the soul currently resides in a biological body — and believes itself to be a human being destined to die — later on.

This second spiritual initiation is about the fact that the soul — the Djinn — is immortal and many trillions of years old.

The Djinn — or the soul — was once a powerful spiritual being. A normal person today can hardly imagine this anymore.
