Kastanienholz im Garten

Kastanienholz hat einen sehr hohen Anteil an
Gerbstoffen. Das hat sehr viele Vorteile:
Dadurch wird das Holz extrem beständig gegen
Witterung. Es ist langlebig. Und es ist unempfindlich
gegen Schädlings- und Pilzbefall.

Und das Gute ist: man muss dieses Kastanienholz
nicht vorbehandeln, oder im Nachgang pflegen.

Kastanienholz als Zaun:
Als Zaun Pfosten, im Erdreich verankert:
halten Kastanien Pfähle 10 bis 15 Jahre stand.
